Over 150 CIS observers to monitor Armenian elections![]() April 3, 2012 - 17:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 150 observers from CIS Executive Committee will monitor Armenia’s parliamentary elections due May 6. They will arrive in Armenia presumably on April 16 on the invitation of Armenian Prime Minster Tigran Sargsyan. Earlier, the Executive Committee issued letters to CIS member-countries, CIS Parliamentary Assembly and Russia-Belarus parliamentary council with an aim to receive applications for participation in the observation mission and clarifying the number of observers. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
