PM Sargsyan: Armenia may okay Russian radar deploymentApril 4, 2012 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia may approve construction of a Russian radar station in its territory, in case Russia and Azerbaijan fail to agree on Gabala radar station. “If our territory is of such interest, we are ready to discuss the issue,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said in an interview with Russian Kommersant paper. As to the range of the potential station, Sargsyan said it could be even larger than the one in Gabala. “We can even have some privileges since Armenia is a mountainous country; the coverage can be larger,” Armenian PM explained.
