Al-Qaeda suspect wanted by U.S. arrested in Turkey![]() April 6, 2012 - 11:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish police arrested a Kazakh man wanted by the United States for alleged links to the al-Qaeda terrorist network in the eastern province of Van on April 5. Anti-terror teams were conducting a routine ID-check in Van city center when they encountered Kazakh citizen R.K. and asked for his identification. The ID-check revealed that an Interpol red bulletin had been issued for R.K. following a request by U.S. authorities on claims that he was linked to al-Qaeda. R.K. was arrested by a court and sent to prison, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
