Sloan, formerly Huck's deputy, currently holds the post of chief financial officer in BP Russia, Huck said. BP considers Russia as one of the key assets in the company's global portfolio. Russian-British joint venture TNK-BP is the company's largest business in Russia. The British company is also exploring offshore Sakhalin island in partnership with the Russian oil major Rosneft, RIA Novosti reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
