Filmmaker Tigran Khzmalyan's spouse on RPA election list

PanARMENIAN.Net - Renowned film director Tigran Khzmalyan who has taken up criticism against opposition Armenian National Congress as his political and public motto recently, has found himself in a weird situation.

His wife Narine Mirzoyan, head of pharmacology chair in Yerevan State Medical University, doctor of medicine, has been included in the election list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Haykakan Zhamanak paper reports.

Khzmalyan confirmed the information to paper’s reporter, explaining it quite strangely; he said his spouse was not aware she appeared in RPA proportional list. However, Narine Mirzoyan still remains on the RPA list, and expresses no wish to quit it.

As Khzmalyan said, his wife got her Doctor’s degree in 2010 and headed the chair in 2011.
