Paper: opposition member breaks away from Free Democrats, Heritage![]() April 11, 2012 - 09:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Haykakan Zhamanak paper, former chairman of All-Armenian Movement board Ararat Zurabyan who then joined the Free Democrats, breaks his ties with this party as well as Heritage. The paper says Zurabyan’s two closest supporters, Yervand Zurabyan and David Arakelyan, placed 51st and 71st respectively on the election list, also declared about their withdrawal from the joint list of Heritage and Free Democrats parties. Their registration with Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission is recognized invalid. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
