Staten Island supports Paul Sariyan’s candidacy for NY State Assembly

PanARMENIAN.Net - GOP Executive Committee of Staten Island, NY, U.S., endorsed Paul Saryian, who is running for the 61st Assembly District seat.

Mr. Saryian, a retired Police Captain, previously ran for City Council (49th District) in the 2009 special election.

GOP Party Chair, Robert Scamardella, said, “Mr. Saryian presented a unique and impressive resume having served honorably for the NYPD, worked as a Police Liaison Officer in Iraq, and previously run for political office.”

The actions by the Executive Committee are in the nature of recommendations to the entire County Committee which will hold a nominating Convention in May.
