"Tron: Uprising" animated series teaser hits the web (video) April 12, 2012 - 21:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In anticipation of the "Tron: Uprising" premiere, a new teaser for the animated series has been shared online. The snippet gives a quick glimpse at Beck, the next Tron, in a battle scene which will still see the light cycle as the main weapon, AceShowbiz reported. Beck is a young program who becomes the skillful leader of a revolution inside the computer world of The Grid. His mission is to free his home and friends from the reign of the villainous Clu 2 and his henchman General Tesler. Beck will be trained by Tron - the greatest warrior the Grid has ever come to know. Destined to become the new protector of the system, Beck adopts Tron's persona and becomes the archenemy of Tesler and his oppressive forces. The show is set between 1982's film "Tron" and its 2010 sequel "Tron: Legacy". Elijah Wood lends his voice for Beck, while Tron will be voiced by Bruce Boxleitner. Also joining the cast ensemble are Lance Henriksen, Fred Tatasciore, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Mandy Moore. The series will premiere this June on Disney XD.
