  Opposition candidate challenges another tycoon for a TV debate April 13, 2012 - 09:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Representative of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Nikol Pashinyan responded to the statement on debate voiced by tycoon Ruben Hayrapetyan on April 12. “Since Ruben Hayrapetyan declared he is ready for a political debate with the top ten members of ANC proportional electoral list, and offered ANC representatives to decide on the debate format, I accept Hayrapetyan’s invitation for a debate,” Pashinyan, placed 7th in ANC proportional list said. ANC member reminded that head of ArmNEws TV channel Artak Alexanyan voiced readiness to host such a debate; therefore Pashinyan called to hold the debate on Monday, April 16 at 22:00. “I will be at ArmNews TV channel on specified day and time, to reply to Hayrapetyan’s statements in a live broadcast. Also, I do not mind if MP candidate Samvel Alexanyan decides to join his old friend for the Monday broadcast,” opposition candidate concluded.
