One of Sharm Holding directors expects top appointment, paper says![]() April 14, 2012 - 10:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Karen Ghazaryan, one of directors of Sharm Holding, engaged in advertising and show business, has recently joined the ruling Republican Party of Armenia. According to Zhoghovurd paper, Ghazaryan made the move hoping to appear on the party’s proportional election list. However, the list is published long ago, with Ghazaryan missing from it. According to the paper’s sources, an “executive position” was promised Ghazaryan, namely the post of a deputy minister. When Zhoghovurd asked RPA spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov which ministry Ghazaryan was expected to join, Sharmazanov, naturally, refuted the rumors. “The party never discusses staff appointment. Currently we are fully engaged in our election campaign. Your information is not true,” he stated. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
