RUSSIAN-ARMENIAN BUSINESS COOPERATION ASSOCIATION CALLED ARMENIAN CITIZENS NOT TO YIELD TO PROVOCATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia needs creation but not destruction, the statement issued in Moscow by the participants of the constituent assembly of the Association of Russian-Armenian Business Cooperation says in view of the internal political situation in Armenia. In the opinion of the authors, an unordinary social and political situation has been created in Armenia. "Proceeding from selfish ends and with the support of outside sponsors, opposition provokes a small in number part of the country's population to illegal and anti-national actions. It happens when the country faces complicated social and economic problems urging immediate settling. That is why consolidation of the society, purposeful and everyday work of every citizen is extremely important now", the statement says. Supposing that Armenia needs creation but not destruction, the authors of the statement called on the country's citizens "not to yield to provocative and irresponsible destructive appeals and to support the legitimate leadership and the legally elected President in order to rebuff the challenges of the time". Member of the Russian Federation Council Nikolay Ryzhkov and chairman of Russian Workers' Party administration Levon Chakhmakhchian signed the statement on behalf of the sitting participants.
