Armenia’s Hayk Hakobyan (+105 kg) was successful in all three approaches on the last day of the tournament, lifting 195 in the snatch and gaining a silver medal. Hakobyan lifted 220 kg in the clean and jerk and finished 6th in the two events with a total of 415 kg. Russia’s Ruslan Albegov became winner in this weight category with a total of 429 kg, while German Matthias Steiner with 424kg and Georgia’s Irakli Turmanidze with 423 kg came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
