Adrin Nazarian poised to win June Primary electionApril 18, 2012 - 11:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A recent poll conducted by Goodwin Simon Strategic Research shows Adrin Nazarian is poised to win the June Primary election. He starts with a small lead over each of his Democratic rivals in the race for the 46th Assembly District, CA, Asbarez reports. After being read positive paragraphs of each of the four main Democratic candidates, drawn entirely from the candidates’ own websites, voters swing strongly in Adrin’s direction. Adrin’s initial lead expands to a two-to-one margin, with a 13 point lead over Brian Johnson and Laurette Healey and a 17 point lead over Andrew Lachman. In a district with 53% Democratic registration compared to 18% Republican, this early lead among Democratic candidates puts Adrin in a solid position as the primary election for the newly drawn 46th Assembly District nears. Nazarian also has the endorsements of Councilman Paul Krekorian, the County Federation of Labor, L.A.’s Firefighters, Police Officers (PORAC), the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), and many of the neighborhood council leaders in the district. The newly drawn 46th Assembly District includes the Los Angeles neighborhoods of North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, Valley Glen, Van Nuys, Panorama City, North Hills, Lake Balboa and the Hollywood Hills. The primary is June 5. Top stories Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees. Friday night 8 trees were torched along the beautiful main entrance.
