Paper: Prosperous Armenia’s leader campaigns in Shirak province

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of Prosperous Armenia party visited Armenia's Shirak province on April 18 to meet the voters.

The campaign was due to take place in Shirak’s Artik and Maralik towns which both faced a power blackout prior to Tsarukyan’s arrival, Zhoghovurd paper reports.

According to the paper, the blackout instruction came from deputy general manager of Electric Networks company Ashot Tukhunts, who earlier had a meeting with Mkhitar Varagyan, candidate proposed by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

However, the electricity was back by the time Prosperous Armenia leader took the floor.

The paper points out that schools and kindergartens in Artik and Maralik hosted various meetings which coincided with the party’s campaign timing.
