Russia's richest Armenian is Daniil Khachaturov, Rosgosstrakh insurance company CEO, who is placed 45th with his USD 2bln. He increased his capital by USD 500mln since last year. Samvel Karapetyan, president of Tashir group comes second among Armenians, ranking 63rd with USD 1.6 bln. He gained additional USD200 mln in 2012. Brothers Nikolay and Sergey Sarkisovs took 82nd and 83rd places, each owning USD 1.2 bln; they lost USD 300 mln over the past year. Troyka Dialogue president Ruben Vardanyan appears in the rear with USD 500 mln. He ranks 180th, same as in 2011. The only female representative is Yelena Baturina, spouse of Moscow’s ex-mayor Yury Louzhkov. She is said to own USD 1.1 bln. Owner of Russia’s metallurgy giant NLMK Vladimir Lisin yields the lead to Alisher Usmanov, founder of Metalloinvest company, who now tops the list with USD 18.1 bln. Average age of those listed makes 50 years, with Deni Bazhaev, 16 being the youngest and 79-year-old Vladislav Tetyukhin the oldest member of the ranking.
