ARFD won’t hold election campaign April 24 – party leader

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun won’t hold election campaign on April 24, head of Armenian Cause Office, ARFD representative Kiro Manoyan said.

Heritage party, too, refused to conduct campaigning on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.

“We will march from Liberty Square to Tsitsernakaberd memorial that day,” Raffi Hovhannisian said.

Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
