Dutch Armenians march to Turkish embassy in HagueApril 24, 2012 - 14:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 23, the Dutch Garegin Njdeh Youth Union organized a torch procession to the embassy of Turkey in Hague. The event held on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide started with the procession at Het Plain square in front of the Netherlands parliament building, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reports. The participants of the march headed for the Turkish embassy, scanning “Justice to 1.5 mln victims of Armenian Genocide” and singing Armenian folk songs. A mass to the Genocide victims was served at the embassy premises, following which the activists lit candles drawing a symbolic 1.5 figure.
