As adviser to Armenian community chairman in Pyatigorsk on youth affairs Ruzanna Makaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, a liturgy was served in Saint Sarkis Church, followed by a mourning rally, with several members of Council of Deputies of Pyatigorsk participating. “We always remember the date, despite being far from motherland,” Makaryan said, adding that the rally launched with a moment of silence, followed by a community representatives’ speeches. She further said that on the eve of Armenian Genocide Remembered Day, on April 19-20, an international conference was held at Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University on the problem of Armenian national identity maintenance in Russia. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
