Paper: Russian prosecutor brings Order of Honor for his Armenian counterpart

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yuri Chayka, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation has arrived in Armenia.

Zhoghovurd paper says the official has also brought the Order of Honor Russian President Dmitry Medvedev awarded Armenia's Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan with on April 14.

Paper’s sources in Moscow hint to political implications behind Chayka’s visit and presentation of the Order of Honor.

Recently rumors are circulating on Orinats Yerkir’s leader Artur Baghdasaryan’s possible appointment as general prosecutor after the elections.

Meanwhile, official Moscow demonstrates now that current prosecutor Hovsepyan does not need such replacement, according to Zhoghovurd.

Numerous media reports said Russia has significant influence on appointments in Armenia’s force structures.
