PanARMENIAN.Net - Former political prisoner, now candidate for the National Assembly elections Sasoun Mikaelyan holds campaign meetings explaining to people that the authorities would easily push any candidate forward unless he was nominated.

Now, with Mikaelyan entering the election campaign, the authorities have the double the resources and spending they allocate for elections, including the amount of electoral bribe, Zhoghovurd paper says.

“If I were not into this campaign, they [the authorities] would not pay you a penny,” the candidate declared.
