RPA, Prosperous Armenia campaign peacefully, paper saysApril 27, 2012 - 11:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak paper, despite the seeming opposition between the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia, representatives of these forces strictly adhere to the agreement reached prior to the election campaign. In 23 of the total 41 constituencies Prosperous Armenia did not nominate candidates to oppose RPA’s nominees, while RPA is not going to rival Prosperous Armenia in 8 constituencies. The paper says they agreed on mutual support in these constituencies. This is the reason Armenian president, RPA leader Serzh Sargsyan voices his support to Prosperous Armenia candidates in some districts. Though Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan never supported any RPA nominee, RPA representatives say this is also done within the mutual agreement framework, Hraparak reports.
