"CAUCASIAN FOUR" TO GATHER IN LATE JUNE

PanARMENIAN.Net - The "Caucasian Four" will gather in late June - early July this year, Speaker of the Council of the Federation of Russia Sergey Mironov told journalists today. As reported by Novosti Russian information agency, he noted such an agreement was reached in the course of bilateral meetings of the members of the "Four" - heads of the Parliaments of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia in Strasbourg, where the international parliamentary conference is held. "As a rule, we do not disclose the agenda of our meetings, but it is apparent that the subject of Georgia will be touched upon at this meeting," Mironov said. He reported that in the course of his meeting with President of the Georgian Parliament Nino Burjanadze the issue of resumption of activities of the working groups - on the problem of Abkhazian refugees and lifting the blockade of the railway - was also discussed.
