President officially calls for dismantling Mashots Park booths![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 1, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Mashots Park. After examining the booths set, he briefed Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan on his observations regarding the park, calling him to get the stalls dismantled. Addressing Mayor Margaryan, he said, “Exemption of Abovian street from stalls became our common accomplishment. Mayor's office acted correctly regarding the issues related to the property of citizens. Law can’t be laid down illegally. Although correct decisions were taken, the stalls truly look unattractive. Getting them dismantled would be the only correct decision.” President Sargsyan further hailed the work of police officers in Mashots Park. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
