EU READY TO GO ON CONTRIBUTING KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT WITHIN FRAMES OF OSCE MINSK GROUPMay 19, 2004 - 17:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Brussels EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana stated of EU's readiness to continue contributing to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement within the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group, Mediamax agency reported. While discussing the EU-Azerbaijan relationships as well as the political situation in the country, Mr. Solana called on Aliyev to secure the realization of political and economic reforms. The parties also stated they are ready to develop further energy dialogue between Azerbaijan and the EU.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
