DPA: political forces have no respect for citizens

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aram Gyurjyan member of the republican council of the Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) dubbed the election campaign as a theater performance.

“When I the procession of political forces visiting the provinces and meeting with local people, I see they never understand who they are visiting and talking with,” he told a press conference in Yerevan saying this is lack of respect towards citizens.

According to him, the electoral bribes offered to people and intimidation demonstrate that a citizen is of no value for political forces. Gyurjyan believes this is a moral and psychological pressure on people.

The DPA representative complained of the election campaign saying it fell short of their expectations.

“It did not meet our expectations; we saw no progress in quality. The media tried to ensure equal opportunities, but here we also saw lack of discussions and debates,” Gyurjyan said adding they will celebrate the victory of the civil society on May 7.
