Armenian, Iranian Foreign Ministries hold consultationsMay 2, 2012 - 18:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 1-2, Tehran hosted the 8th joint meeting of delegations of Armenian and Iranian Foreign Ministries. The parties discussed issues of bilateral interest and agreements reached during the previous meeting, hailing the progress in cooperation in consular, judicial and legal fields. They further gave positive assessment to the meeting between relevant services at Norduz- Meghri frontier point, voicing support for expansion of cooperation in struggle against drug trafficking in both countries. Upon completion of the meeting, head of Armenian consular department Hakob Haji-Hakobyan and his Iranian counterpart signed a memorandum of understanding.
