Ex-official's misappropriation case may be reviewed - paper![]() May 3, 2012 - 13:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Force structures have started again to “dig” the case of Vazgen Khachikyan, ex-chief of the state social security service at Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Zhoghovurd paper says citing its sources. Legal proceedings were filed against Khachikyan charged with misappropriation of pensions and abuse of authority. “Following the parliamentary elections, the case will see large-scale development,” the paper says. Zhoghovurd’s reporter addressed Khachikyan to learn whether the prosecutor’s office or police have contacted him again. “No, your information is not true,” came the answer. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
