PACE ex-vice president says elections in Armenia well-organized

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former vice-president of PACE, Czechia’s Anna Curdova noted the parliamentary elections in Armenia as well-organized.

“The representatives of the International expert Center of Electoral Systems (ICES) have already visited 8 districts in Yerevan and Abovyan, which show a large turnout. We plan to visit 6 more electoral districts in Yerevan,” the representative of ISES told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

As she noted, she’s been acting as an observer during 3 elections in Armenia. Ms Curdova stressed significant progress in the way current elections were organized.

She also stressed positive changes made in Armenia’s Electoral Code to bring it into compliance with standards required.
