Iran arrests several suspects over nuke scientists killings![]() May 6, 2012 - 15:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran has arrested several suspects in connection with the assassination of its nuclear scientists, Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi announced on Sunday, May 6. According to Fars News Agency, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a periodic meeting of Iran's Drug Campaign Headquarters in Tehran, Moslehi said that Iran has recently made some important arrests, and explained that those apprehended by the security forces have been arrested for drug and security charges. "Some of these individuals have been arrested in connection with the case of our nuclear martyrs, and we have managed to apprehend them recently," Moslehi added. The minister declined to provide any further details on the case. Iran has so far arrested several suspects in relation to the assassination of its scientists. In the fifth attack of the kind in two years, 32-year-old Iranian scientist, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, and his driver were killed on January 11, 2012. The blast occurred on the second anniversary of the assassination of Iranian university professor and nuclear scientist, Massoud Ali Mohammadi, who was killed in January 2010.
