Paper: RPA winning candidate never showed up in his constituency over past 5 years

PanARMENIAN.Net - Candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) in constituency 29 Arkady Hambardzumyan won the parliamentary vote on May 6, Hraparak paper reports.

This constituency comprises Spitak, Arjut and Shirakamut communities and some districts in Vanadzor city in Armenia’s Lori province.

Hambardzumyan is mostly known for his well-off father, Stanislav Hambardzumyan, owner of Derzhava-S CSJC, Lacoste store and SlavGroup company, paper says.

According to Hraparak, residents of Shirakamut and Vanadzor’s Taronner district were surprised to see Hambardzumyan win the elections, saying the MP running his campaign with “I am one of you” slogan never appeared in this area over the past five years.
