RPA nominee loses to independent candidate - paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhamanak daily, parliamentary candidate, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Victor Dallakyan running by majority system in 30th constituency in Armenia’s Vanadzor city lost to his rival Edmon Marukyan.

Marukyan who ran for parliamentary elections as independent candidate, is a lawyer with Populex legal advice office.

According to preliminary data, Dallakyan got 9268 votes, while 31-year-old Marukyan secured 11683, the daily reports.
