Paper: rural voter tears bribe to pieces![]() May 8, 2012 - 12:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hayatsk paper reports a notable incident in Koti village in Armenian Tavush province. “When looking through ballot-papers in 40/23 polling station in Koti, members of the local electoral committee noticed a ballot favoring the Prosperous Armenia party. In addition to the ballot-paper, the envelope also contained an AMD 10000 bank note which was torn to pieces,” paper says. This was a Koti voter’s response to the briber, Hayatsk says, referring to reports on AMD10000 offered to people as electoral bribe before the parliamentary elections. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
