YEREVAN MAY HOST GRECO-ROMAN AND FREE-STYLE WRESTLING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2005

PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary General of the International Wrestling Federation Michael Dusson is in Armenia to clear up Armenia's capacities for holding the Greco-Roman and free-style wrestling championships. Having familiarized himself with the state of the Yerevan Sport and Concert Complex after Karen Demirchian, he considered they met the criteria of organizing such competitions. M. Dusson stated it during a meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Margarian. The latter in his turn assured that in case the European championships are held in Yerevan, the Armenian Government will do everything possible to organize these events.
