As reported by A-info, the ruins of two churches still remain in the village. One of them, the Church of Grigor the Enlightener was functioning before the establishment of the Soviet Power. The second church is said to be the Church of St. Nune, which is now being reconstructed with the efforts of the Georgian Orthodox Church.
