Armenian representative third at Eurovision Young Musicians

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 11, Vienna hosted Eurovision Young Musicians 2012 contest’s final, with Armenian representative Narek Ghazaryan occupying the third place.

Norway’s Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad became the contest winner, followed by 16-year old Armenian violinist Emmanuel Chgnavoryan from Austria.

The semifinals were held on May 5-6. This year the contest brought together 14 musicians, with jury selecting the seven best performs among them.

Eurovision Young Musicians is a competition for European musicians that are 18 years old or younger. It is organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The televised competition is held every two years, with some countries holding national heats.
