CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS GAREGIN II LEFT FOR UKJune 10, 2004 - 22:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - June 10 Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II left for the UK on the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The administrative center of the Anglican Church - the Lambeth Palace - will host His Holiness until June 14. The Catholicos will meet with Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and Queen Elizabeth II. He will also participate in a range of church ceremonies and will preach in the Canterbury Cathedral June 13. Upon the completion of the official part of the visit Garegin II will hold meetings with the Armenian congregation of Great Britain. As reported by the Press Service of Holy Echmiadzin, he will visit St. Sargis and St. Yeghishe Armenian churches in London.
