23 Syrian soldiers reportedly killed in heavy clashes![]() May 14, 2012 - 12:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Twenty-three Syrian soldiers were killed in the town of Rastan on Monday, May 14 in heavy clashes with rebels who destroyed three armored personnel carriers, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, according to Reuters. Earlier, opposition sources said nine people, including a local rebel commander, were killed in heavy army shelling of Rastan. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
