23 Syrian soldiers reportedly killed in heavy clashes May 14, 2012 - 12:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Twenty-three Syrian soldiers were killed in the town of Rastan on Monday, May 14 in heavy clashes with rebels who destroyed three armored personnel carriers, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, according to Reuters. Earlier, opposition sources said nine people, including a local rebel commander, were killed in heavy army shelling of Rastan.
