FRANCE WILL MARK 2006-2007 AS YEARS OF ARMENIAJune 12, 2004 - 00:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the course of a working visit in the end of April an agreement was reached between the leaders of the two countries - Robert Kocharian and Jacques Chirac - for France to mark the years 2006-2007 as Years of Armenia. Thereupon, as reported by the Press Service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, exhibitions, concerts, subject festivals and other measures will be organized in Paris and other French cities. These will be devoted to the Armenian culture and will present the cultural legacy of the Armenian people.
