Paper comments on ministerial reshuffle![]() May 15, 2012 - 15:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Zhamanak daily commented on the new composition of the Armenian government which is a top issue for debates now. The paper quotes its sources in the presidential administration which say ministers of education and science, transport and communications, agriculture and environmental protection will be dismissed, irrespective of the coalition prospects. Some provincial governors will also lose their positions, in particular, heads of Shirak, Kotayk and Syunik, Zhamanak reports. According to the paper’s data, educational domain will be offered to Prosperous Armenia, Naira Zohrabyan being the most likely candidate to head it; current speaker Samvel Nikoyan will lead the environmental ministry, while former mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan will get the post of the transport and communications minister. Current Minister for Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan will head the Internal Affairs Ministry, yet to be established, while leader of patriotic movement Armenian Eagles, Khachik Asryan will be appointed emergency minister, the paper claims. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
