ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE GATHERED IN YEREVANJune 17, 2004 - 18:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - June 18-19 the first session of the Armenian Assembly of Parliamentary Friendship (AAPF) with the participation of parliamentarians of Armenian origin from different countries of the world will be held in Yerevan. Some 70 Armenian deputies from the parliaments of 25 countries, as well as foreign members of the parliamentary groups of friendship with Armenia have arrived in the Armenian capital to participate in the forum. Today, June 17, the delegation of forum participants was received by President of Armenia Robert Kocharian. It should be noted that the initiative of the creation of the AAPF belongs to Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Artur Baghdasarian.
