  Russian expert: Armenia at height of stability May 17, 2012 - 16:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first vice president of Strategic Development Modeling Center believes Armenia is at the height of stability both in domestic policy and international scene. During a TV space bridge, Grigory Trofimchuk quoted Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev as stressing special alliance between Armenia and Russia. The expert, however, expressed hope no occasion necessitating a proof of the alliance will occur. Trofimchuk also urged Russia to strengthen ties with Armenia, which may be lost without promoting further cooperation. “Also, Armenia is working to create a free trade zone with the EU, which can’t but stir Russia’s interest,” the Russian expert said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
