Armenian pavilion opened at Cannes Film Festival May 17, 2012 - 17:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian pavilion has opened at 65th Cannes Film Festival. According to spokesperson of Armenian National Film Center Ruzanna Bagratunyan, the pavilion will operate until May 25. Armenian delegation is headed by Film Center director Gevorg Gevorgyan. The pavilion features about 15 film projects, scripts and incomplete movies. Film directors Hovhannes Galstyan, Arsen Arakelyan, Armen Ronov and representatives of Hayk film studio are currently in Cannes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 65th Cannes Film Festival kicked off Wednesday, May 16 night with the world premiere of Wes Anderson's quirky summer camp love story Moonrise Kingdom, following a star-powered opening night ceremony.
