Armenian envoy in Japan meets Deputy Foreign Minister![]() May 21, 2012 - 18:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 21, Armenia's newly-appointed ambassador to Japan, Hrant Poghosyan handed over the copy of his credentials to Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Kenichiro Sasae. Vice-Minister Sasae congratulated the envoy on his appointment, voicing hope for further strengthening and expansion of Armenian-Japanese ties during his term of office. Ambassador Poghosyan, in turn, thanked for the warm welcome, noting that Armenia always considered Japan a friendly country. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
