ONE OF FRENCH SQUARES CALLED EJMIATSIN

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 30 one of the central squares of the French town Issy-les-Moulineaux was called the Ejmiatsin Square. Armenia's Ambassador to France Edvard Nalbandian, Issy-les-Moulineaux mayor Andreas Santini and mayor of Ejmiatsin Hrach Abgarian took part in the ceremony was organized on this occasion. When responding to journalists' questions, E. Nalbandian stated that it has become a tradition to give Armenian names to French streets and squares, their number reaching to several dozens today, thus testifying of fast friendship between the Armenian and French people.
