BAKU CONCERNED OVER US INTENTION TO RENDER ASSISTANCE TO NAGORNO KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - Official Baku is concerned over the decision by the US Congress to render assistance to Nagorno Karabakh. "It is not ruled that these funds will be spent on the construction of houses at the seized territories of Azerbaijan due to Armenia's policy of illegal colonization of the occupied Azeri lands", the statement issued by the Azerbaijani MFA says, Interfax agency reported on June 2. The Azeri Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that rendering of such assistance could have negative influence on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. To remind, the US House of Representatives Sub-Committee for Foreign Assistance voted last week in favor of allocating $5 million to Nagorno Karabakh for the future implementation of humanitarian projects.
