New ruling coalition to include RPA, Orinats YerkirMay 24, 2012 - 21:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The executive body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) resolved to continue partnership with Orinats Yerkir party in a coalition. The decision was taken at RPA sitting headed by the party leader President Serzh Sagsyan, parliament vice speaker, RPA spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov told journalists. “RPA is ready to implement the programs that party supporters voted for at parliament poll. Orinats Yerkir expressed readiness to work with RPA, and I believe, the cooperation will continue,” Sharmazanov said. The vice-speaker, however, refused to comment on Prosperous Armenia’s refusal to join the coalition, noting RPA respects the decision. “In politics, you have to consider every scenario to avoid being taken by surprise,” Sharmazanov said, asked if the news above was unexpected.
