YEREVAN CONCERNED OVER EXACERBATION OF SITUATION IN GEORGIAN-OSSETIAN CONFLICT ZONE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is concerned over exacerbation of situation between Georgia and South Ossetia and hopes for peaceful settlement of the conflict, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian told journalists today. In his words, the conflict situation in Georgia threatens the whole of the region and specifically Armenia. The Minister reported that among others Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania invited the Armenian Ambassador in Tbilisi for consultations over the situation.
