PM: Armenia prioritizes areas of NECO’s activity

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with a delegation headed by Chairman of the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO).

“The areas of NECO’s activity are vital for us. Armenian government prioritizes the education system, which is also in focus of your organization,” the Prime Minister said.

The parties discussed issues related to current reforms and programs of Armenian education system, NECO’s cooperation with Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and Genocide recognition campaign, government’s press service reported.

Established in 1986, NECO supports new education initiatives and cutting-edge medical research endeavors, partners with humanitarian organizations nationally and internationally, celebrates the diversity, achievements and progress of all ethnic backgrounds, promotes tolerance and cultural awareness.
