ARMENIA BOUGHT FROM RUSSIA NEW SET FOR MILITARY EQUIPMENT PROTECTION FROM RADARS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has bought "Cloak" radio absorbing protection set for military equipment, presented at Nizhny Tagil-2004 Russian Expo Arms. As reported by ITAR-TASS Russian news agency, in case of using the set, worked out by the Russian research institute of Steel, the military equipment cannot be detected by means of radars. The "Cloak" can be used both to protect stationary materiel and moving objects. According to the source, the US has displayed mush interest towards the set. It should be reminded that the other day a delegation of the Defense Ministry of Armenia headed by Minister Serge Sargsian visited the Expo in Nizhny Tagil, which will close today.
