New parliament reflects balance of political forces – RPA member![]() June 2, 2012 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - National Assembly’s fifth convocation more accurately reflects the balance of political forces in, Chairman of Christian Democratic Union and member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) said. Khosrov Harutyunyan noted that many MPs with vast political experience representing both authorities and opposition have entered the new parliament. The party head voiced hope for the MPs to have active involvement in the legislative work, organize “political show” in the parliament and justify voters’ hopes. Mr. Harutyunyan further refuted rumors about the disagreement between representatives of other political forces having entered the National Assembly by RPA candidates list and Republican MPs. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
